View from Grouse Mountain today

I went skiing on Grouse Mountain this morning (my first time skiing in ages). Down below, the city was shrouded in fog, but on top the mountain, we were in a world of sun and snow (and surprising warmth).

Jacquie, congratulations on getting back skiing!
The fog is fascinating and distorts in very interesting ways.
Also the fact that places that usually have fog, like Sooke, haven’t experienced it this past while and have had sun when we’ve experienced fog.
Here in Duncan we experienced fog a week or so ago but this week, cool weather and sunny days. What’s unusual for us is, we still have clumps and piles of snow scattered throughout the town, which is gradually drying and disappearing. We’re happy we’ve not had the rain that was forecast! :>)

I love seeing mountains rising from fog like this, beautiful!
