I woke today to a lovely day filled with sunshine. I decided to go on a walk-about around the neighborhood and our small town to soak up the sunshine and enjoy the Spring day.
I tried to make a point of addressing a few words to people I passed along the way. The colours of the rhodos, azaleas and spring flowers made their mark upon me. The scent of lilacs and mowed grass was lovely.
After almost two hours of meandering I came home and was all set to sit outside and have a bite of lunch when the sky darkened, thunder sounded and rain pelted down. How typical of Spring and it’s temperment.
